(she sheds her skin to save a human girl from the demons tearing at her. once she does, though, a demon grabs her seal skin. he takes her to his castle of horrors, where he keeps her as his wife. she misses the sea and dreams of returning. finally, while her demon husband is preparing his latest catch, she finds her seal skin hidden under his pillow. she finds strength in this skin she didn’t have in her delicate human skin and saves his prey with her sharp, small teeth. she slips back into the sea, swearing vengeance on all evilkind.)
